| A Community Education and Arts Center |

The East Side School Development Committee seeks to develop the landmark East Side School building into a community education and arts center. The center will be a multi-use facility with ongoing programming and affordable rental spaces for learning and advocacy centers, community meetings and events, artist studios, art education and display, a museum, nonprofits, the city, and other community organizations. Located in the heart of Decorah, on the campus that will soon house half of the students in the school system, the center will provide expanded learning opportunities for students as well as adults and add new dimensions to our thriving community |
